You might have missed a couple things, y’know, doing time as a Capsicle.

Cat Ear Visor Sunglasses, by Jeremy Scott x Linda Farrow [S/S 2009]
Back when I first spotted these in 2009, I wasn’t too crazy about the frame/lens shape of these sunglasses; however, I did love how the cat ears were subtle without being too reminiscent of your stereotypical otaku. All in all, definitely a cute and clever alternative of wearing your sunglasses indoors, especially from the collaborative efforts of Jeremy Scott (who channeled DC Comics in his Fall 2011 collection) and Linda Farrow (who designed these domino mask sunglasses).
Fast forward to Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman costume in The Dark Knight Rises:
The visor on her high-tech goggles reportedly emulates the shape of cat ears when the goggles are worn as a headband. I wonder if the costume designer on the set of TDKR happened to take a cue from Jeremy Scott x Linda Farrow’s eyewear design…

And Ms. Ridzel on a hypothetical Batgirl Corps books.
(By the way, she’s 17. I’m not even an artist and that makes me want to kill myself.)
